Khalaasny logo design

The name “Khalaasny” comes from the Mongolian word “bag” and is actually a rather old word, which refers, among other things, to the Mongolian “fanny bags.” Traditionally, men wear so-called deels, with cloth wrapped around their stomachs to serve as bags. Alexandra Koch hand-sews bags and accessories. Her Mongolian roots inspired the design of the logo and the vertical font.
